Page 1 of 3 The subject of the Bulgarian pavilion at the "Floriade 2002" exhibition is "The Bulgarian Renaissance yard". It summarizes the most characteristic features of the architectural ensembles and customs of the people of the period. The design of the Bulgarian garden is a contemporary creative reproduction of the national heritage. It is developed in three themed groups. The first can be named "Clerical heritage", the second - "Renaissance yard" and the third - "Customs of the people and handicrafts". These nooks chronologically follow the historical sequence and the development of the Rennaissance Architecture.
The concept "Bulgarian Rennaissance Yard" is most suitable for internationale exhibition because the artistic achievements depict the rebelious spirit and the optomistic view of life of our nation in this period.
